I am involved in a comprehensive study of the family records of Glenlivet, Braes of Glenlivet, Chapeltown, etc., which in some time periods is part of Inveravon parish. I am compiling family trees, census records, civil registration and parish records. Am interested in corresponding with anyone with similar interests.

About the Glenlivet Project:
"At the southern end of Banffshire lies a valley, typical in nature to the Scottish Highlands, of farms, streams, and hills. This is where the people of Glenlivet lived, married, and died. Catholics, Protestants, crofters, teachers, and shoemakers reared children that spread to the world becoming the ancestors of hundreds of thousands of diverse people living in Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and throughout the world.
This website intends to become the permanent repository of the stories of the people of this place. Birth, marriage, death records, census returns, church records, pictures of memorial inscriptions, family trees, and stories all hint at the lives lived in this little valley.
In order for this to happen, individuals throughout the world have selflessly donated countless hours to collecting and transcribing these records.

Libindx System - Online Genealogical Search: "Libindx is the Local Heritage Service's index to sources of information about people, places and subjects relating to Moray. All indexed references to specific individuals, properties and subjects are included under their own unique reference number. Sources indexed include local government archives from the 13th century to 1975, local newspapers, gravestone inscriptions, non-established church records to 1855, architectural plans, books, family histories etc.
Regularly updated, the people index contains over 200,000 names and acts as an aid for genealogists tracing their roots in Moray as well as researchers into well-known Moravians such as Ramsay MacDonald or the Wolf of Badenoch.
The places index, as well as listing the plans from major architectural collections including the distillery plans of Charles Chree Doig, provides details of photographs and sources of histories of the many historic buildings in Moray such as Elgin Cathedral and Sueno's Stone."
