Bristol & Avon Family History Society: "Our Research Room is at the rear of the Bristol Record Office foyer. We have six computers, including three with internet access and 'Ancestry' subscription, and microfiche readers. Use of our resources is free to all and B&AFHS volunteers provide help and advice. Open Wednesday a.m., Thursday p.m. and a.m. on the first two Saturday of the month. Non-members welcome - just walk in. You can also buy a range of books, source materials on fiche and CD and vouchers to access records on the 1901 census and the familyhistoryonline websites."
