Library help

icseftonandwestlancs - Library to help trace family tree:
"STAFF at Tarleton Library are helping people trace their family histories over the next two months.

On Monday November 5 and Monday December 3, Hilary Ambrose, the education officer of Liverpool and South West Lancashire Family History Society, will be providing a Help Desk from 10am to 12 noon.

These sessions are to help people solve problems they have encountered while tracing their family tree – and the library service is providing two computers on which people can use the library edition of the site ancestry.co.uk.

And on the afternoon of November 5 only, there will be a seminar ‘Getting Started in Family History’ from 2pm to 4.30pm.

All events are free but must be pre-booked by contacting Tarleton Library on 01772 815179 or calling in."
