Hello all Watkins cousins, friends and researchers:

This is to notify you of a few changes that have occurred at the
Watkins Family History Society.


WEBSITE
We have changed the main Watkins FHS website domain name.
The only difference is that the "org" part is now "net".

New website address:
Old website address:

The same applies to all the mailing lists and email addresses that
were used from that domain name. There is nothing anyone needs to
do in regards to the mailing lists that you are subscribed to as
all the subscribers names have been transferred to the new address
and they will operate just as before.

When posting a message using any of the mailing lists we have,
please make sure that you make the necessary changes to the email
address you send your message to. For example, if you a sending a
message to the the Genwat mailing list make sure it is the new
address you use otherwise your message will not get through

WATKINS FAMILY TREE PROJECT WEBSITE
This website still retains the same name and is unchanged. If you
have not yet sent us your family tree, I would suggest you do as
this has become a great way of making new connections.

WATKINS GENEALOGY FORUM
We have introduced a Forum for Genealogy Research which is split
into different Countries to make it easy for all rather than having
one that covers the world. You have the option of posting a message
as a guest without registering, though we recommend that you do
register as you can then have any replies to your posted message
automatically e-mailed to you direct.

The Forum is for anyone who has an interest in researching and
tracing the ancestry of WATKINS families around the world. It has
been made available so we can all share and help other each other
with information regarding our WATKINS ancestors.

Please go along and post a message in the Forum.

NEWSLETTER
We are making a few changes with the Watkins Family Newsletter. Liz
will be telling you more about this during the next week. The
Newsletters contain some wonderful stories and a stack of
information and all are available for you to download free.
