Live :: Family History Show Earls Court London 27th Feb - 1st Mar 2009: "The 1911 census has been released, and will be showcased for the first time at Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE 2009! Experts from Findmypast.com and The National Archives will be on hand to help you make the most of this amazing resource."
Calling all Scots!: "On Saturday 28th February, we will be celebrating the Scots! With Scottish entertainment, and a programme of workshops and lectures with a Celtic flavour, not to mention a host of Scottish exhibitors who will be at the show all weekend, there are some great opportunities to learn more about your Scottish roots.
2009 marks the 250th anniversary of Scots poet Robert Burns, and Homecoming Scotland 2009, a programme of events inviting all with Scottish ancestry to visit their homeland, means that there has never been a better time to investigate your Scottish heritage.
The workshop timetable will include topics such as Scottish house histories, Scottish records and sources, the roles of clans and tartans, and, of course, Who Do You Think You Are? sessions with Matthew Pinsent, who discovered he is descended from Edward I (1239-1307), the Hammer of the Scots."
Ask the Experts: "The Society of Genealogists organise and run this popular feature with the help of the best brains in family history. Come and see one of our 83 experts for a 20 minute session and have your questions answered." and I will be doing danish and related genealogy
