On a rainy morning in Copenhagen I visited this GOLD MINE http://www.ksa.kk.dk/ - the City Hall Archives
and I have updated the Karl Dane: time line with his and his brother's dates at Nansensgade School, Copenhagen
Afterwards I took the bus, because my legs are like a cyclists after the mountain climbs in Le Tour, to http://www.sa.dk/

No luck with military records
I got the wrong stamboger out of the distant storage
but I saw one interesting reference to a ballonmester qualifying in 1912 and being posted from Kystartlleri battalion to Ballonparken in Artilerivej Amager Denmark.
I am going to use DAISY over the weekend to call some more packages out of storage
